How do you deal with your long distance relationship?

I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years %26amp; he is currently in New Zealand, traveling %26amp; working. We don't want to end the relationship bc we love each other but sometimes it is really hard....he has been gone for about a year %26amp; will not be back until April....He calls me when he can %26amp; e-mails pretty often. Has anyone been in a similar situation,,,? What did you do to keep from being sad or losing hope? thankxHow do you deal with your long distance relationship?
