Long distance relationships? How to make it work?

Just wondering... is it possible to get to know a person over long distances? How do you deal with misunderstood texts? How do you sound casual and flirty without being to coming on or too mean or withdrawn... what are soome suitable things to ask early on in a relationship/friendship? I mean i'm not going to be like drilling questions like what camp r u going to, what are your hobbies, what are your grades like have you had many girlfriends thats just creepy.... What do i say to keep the convo going??





What is a suitable time to say goodbye for the night? Is ending the convo like good for keeping him coming back or not? IDK

stablish Trust: Trust is an important in any relationship. You have to share every thing and try to trust your partner because low self-respect and a lack of trust can damage amazing relationships.


# Cards and Email: If you are really busy with your work than send a beautiful card, letter or email and informed your partner.


# Make Time for Each Other: It is really important to give a time to each other. You can find a silent place where you discuss and spend time together then garden is best place where you spend your time with your partner.


# Establish the Rules: In you relationship rules are important because some rules which is vital for you and your partner will definitely affect on your life and change you also.


# Honest with your Partner: Be honest with your long distance partner. If you have any doubts then talk about it. Honesty is important toward to your relationship.


# Respect and Love: Try to give respect to your long distance partner. If your partner is sharing any matter with your then your work is listen him/her carefully. If you give the respect to your partner then definitely your partner loves you and care about you.


* Be thoughtful: Try you understand your partner. Perform sweet, spontaneous things to show your partner how much you miss him/her. Share each and every think with your partner.

Yeah you can get to know a person over long distance but it takes good questions and reading the answers carefully and with an open mind while considering the variables of the other persons location etc.





You'll have to ask all kinds of questions but keep it to a few or a couple per session and respond to their couple per session. Hopefully you are both honest with each other. There are a variety of topics to babble about to each other but somewhere you'll have to find out likes/dislikes, hobbies and such as these will be topics for discussion. What do they do for fun?





Over time you'll find out a lot of details as once something is mentioned and the followup questions are answered you'll get a picture of the person you're dealing with. Listen and read carefully and don;t take everything written or said at face, try to understand what is being written etc.





Ending the convo should not be a problem as sometime one of you has to get off line and go to sleep or to work/school or whatever. Sometimes it is easier in the beginning to say ';Let me know when it's 10 as I have to go (appointment, meet a relative whatever) so you've already placed a time limit on the conversation and end it accordingly.
