How to deal with Sadness in a long distance relationship after you meet for the first time?

Hello and thank you that you take your time to read about my problem. Im in a LDR for 10 months now and last week was the first time we meet, it was the most wonderful feeling ever, everything was absolutelly perfect, better than we would have imagined, unfortunatelly after 9 days together we had to say goodbye at the airport.

Ever since that day we cant help it but be sad the whole time, i myself cried alot these days because i feel so empty without him next to me and so lonely even if we are chatting to each other its just not the same thing, i know he feels the same. We dont know what to do about it, how to get rid and handle these horrible feelings.. Im sure its not healthy for us nor for our relationship to be like this the whole time. I would like to ask you for advice, if someone has ever been trough this and knows what i麓m talking about.

Thank you very much

I know exactly what you're talking about

My boyfriend and I are long distance also.

After we met for the first time, we only had a whole day together, then he had to go.

We do that every month at least, or more often.

After we leave each other, yes we are very sad. But can't wait to see each other again. We take pictures sometimes when we're together,so that later on in the week, i can look at them and look forward to seeing him again.

You might feel sad for a few days, but that's normal.

You two still have the phone, online, etc. :)

It just takes a little more patience.

At least you had nine days.

I only had a day, and my boyfriend and I are doing wonderful.

Well the best thing is to move closer to each other. Or do something that occupies your time so you dont feel so empty. Take time in the day to talk to eachother though.
